Timma is the second largest VDC in Bhojpur. Pikhuwa Khola (stream) is famous\u00a0for fishing and swimming in Bhojpur, its fountain\u00a0lies in Timma. Timma is free of load shedding, hydropower is generated by Shawa Khola. The highest peak in Timma is Maiyung, it is 3333m above sea level. It is famous for picnic spot as well as tourism area in Bhojpur, Nepal.\u00a0 We can see the panoramic view of the Himalayans as well as the mountain from this peak, around the Maiyung there are a greenery jungle, herbs, flowers, rocks, meadow, animals (Chauri Gai, Yak)etc. According to the lecturer Mr Kamaljung Rai, Maiyung name remained in Bantawa Language, Maiyung is a combination of two words are Mang and Yung; Mang=ancestors and Yung=inhabitant that means an inhabitant of ancestors in the Bantawa language. \u00a0Many people come to visit Maiyung from different places, when they reached\u00a0there they become spellbound by the captivating beauty of Maiyung. According to the forefathers, Hass Pokhari\u2018 name remained \u2018Hass Pokhari\u2019\u00a0because of its shape, which is the same as a Hass, i.e.\u00a0 Raja Hass (swan). They come in this pond occasionally and swim over the pond. Its salient feature is where the water\u00a0fountain is and where it goes? We have not seen it yet. \u00a0Many visitors visit this pond in the seasonal festival as well on other occasions too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-Arkzh39u748\/Wawr7CRH2MI\/AAAAAAAACIw\/mKRvchSudsE5DDvkFJxb7fh3fqyzXp0SgCLcBGAs\/s1600\/haspokhari.jpg\" alt=\"hasspokhari\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> In the Maiyung peak,\u00a0the Mela carnival starts once a year, at that time, many people gather there and dance with each other regarding\u00a0their own cultural background and attire. They meet their relatives, friends\u00a0and neighbour, then they share their feelings and emotion with each other.\u00a0 With\u00a0this carnival (Mela), mostly beneficiaries are from Khotang and Bhojpur\u2019s some VDC. We can find here many types of flowers,\u00a0most of them are\u00a0Shamphul (a flower), its fragrance gives us pleasant mood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary source of income in Timma are Cardamom, Orange, Ghee, Churpi, Rudraksha etc. Timma is surrounded by dense jungle and stream (Khola). Where different caste or kinds of people live here, such as Rai, Tamang, Sherpa, Chettri, Gurung, Blacksmith, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most\u00a0appropriate time to visit this area is Chaitra, Baishak and Jesth but you may visit any month. Maiyung is a naturally beautiful place in Nepal.
